CCTV Process and Information
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is installed at Crestwood Community School for the safety of staff, pupils, and visitors and to protect school property and assets.
CCTV recorded data is retained for 14 days, after which it is automatically overwritten. We encourage you to submit your request promptly to ensure the footage is still available.
If your request for CCTV is authorised, the footage will be securely transferred to the requester and other authorised individuals via Google Drive. Access to the footage will be granted for 30 days, after which access will be revoked and the transferred copies will be securely deleted.
If you require continued access to the transferred footage beyond 30 days you must submit a written request to the Site and Facilities Lead, Alan Hussey, stating the reason for the extended retention/access, and the legal basis for doing so. Extended retention will only be granted in accordance with applicable data protection laws and school policy, and for a specified period agreed.
