Sometimes, when you have the classroom speakers plugged into your laptop, you may find that the sound is coming from your projector's built-in speakers instead. Fortunately, this is a very quick fix.
Simply click on the sound icon in the system tray at the bottom-right of your screen. This should open the volume slider. Above the volume slider, there should be some text. This will likely be the name of your projector. Click on this text to open a dropdown menu, and then simply select the other option - this will likely be 'Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)'.
